Step by step process

Step 1 Acquiring & submitting form: Applicants acquire the Application Form either from the Plant Quarantine Wing of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) or through the official website, completing it as per instructions. Upon completion, fees are paid, and a Treasury Challan is issued as evidence of payment. The applicant then submits the filled Application Form alongside all essential documents to the designated authority, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards throughout the process.

Step 2 Document Verification & Inspection: The Concern Officer stationed at the local Quarantine Station meticulously verifies the submitted documents. This step ensures that all documents are accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Following document verification, the Concern Officer conducts a thorough inspection of the products. During this inspection, samples are collected for further testing to ascertain their quality and safety.

Step 3 Sample Testing: The collected samples undergo rigorous testing to evaluate their compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This testing ensures that the imported/exported products meet all necessary criteria for safety and quality.

Step 4 Release Order Approval & collection: Upon satisfactory completion of testing and verification procedures, the respective Officer responsible for approvals grants the Release Order. This signifies authorization for the import/export process to proceed.** Finally, applicants collect the approved Release Order from the designated authority. This document officially concludes the import/export process, allowing for the lawful movement of plant and plant-related products.
