Process Steps:
Step 1 Application Submission & Document Verification: Applicants acquire the required form from the CCI&E office and submit it along with necessary documents. The Import division at CCI&E then meticulously verifies the completeness and accuracy of these documents.
Step 2 Application Review & Controller Assessment: Following submission, an executive officer at CCI&E reviews the application and accompanying documents for compliance. Upon approval, the Assistant Controller conducts a thorough review to ensure adherence to importation regulations, then forwards the application to the Deputy Controller for further scrutiny.
Step 3 Oversight & Permit Issuance: The Deputy Controller meticulously scrutinizes the application for compliance with regulatory requirements. If approved, the Chief Controller provides final oversight, and the Assistant Controller issues the import permit.
Step 4 Permit Dispatch: Once the import permit is issued, the Import section dispatches it to the applicant through appropriate channels, marking the completion of the process.
