In Bangladesh, the sale of milk products is governed by the Control of Essential Commodities Act, 1956. This law mandates obtaining a license to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. The licensing process involves submitting an application, undergoing inspection by designated officers, paying fees upon satisfactory inspection, and receiving the license from authorities. This framework aims to uphold product quality, consumer health, and confidence in the dairy industry.
