Step by step all process
Step 1 Collect Application Form Submission: The applicant starts by collecting the prescribed Application Form from the official website or concerned regulatory office. Next, the applicant makes the required payment and collects the Treasury Challan as proof of payment. With these documents, the applicant completes and submits the Application Form along with all relevant supporting documents, including the Treasury Challan, to the appropriate authority.
Step 2 Obtain Prior Permission Letter: Before opening a Letter of Credit (L/C), the applicant must receive a Prior Permission Letter. This letter is issued after the initial application is reviewed and is necessary for proceeding with the financial arrangements.
Step 3 Submit Final Application with L/C: The applicant then submits a second application, this time including the Letter of Credit (L/C) and any other required documents. This step ensures that all financial and regulatory prerequisites are met before the license is issued.
Step 4 Document Verification and License Issuance: The relevant authorities review all submitted documents. If everything is in order and meets the regulatory requirements, the authorities proceed to issue the import license. Finally, the applicant receives the import license
