Step by step all process
Step 1 Publicity and Form Collection: The process begins with the wide publicity in newspapers and electronic media by the Commission, announcing its intention to issue a License. Prospective applicants then collect the prescribed Form from the BTRC Office or Website.
Step 2 Form Submission and Registration: Applicants fill out the Form and submit it along with the required documents. The Commission registers these applications in their respective register.
Step 3 Scrutiny and Decision: The submitted applications undergo scrutiny and evaluation by concerned officers. This involves detailed assessment and verification of the submitted documents. The findings and evaluations are presented in a Commission meeting, where decisions regarding the applications are made and communicated to the applicants.
Step 4 Payment and License Issuance: Upon receiving a favorable decision, applicants proceed to pay the prescribed License fee. Following receipt of the fee, the Commission issues the License to the applicant, completing the process.

Subsequent Revenue Sharing:
There will be no revenue sharing for the first 3 (three) years for Dhaka and Chittagong Metropolitan areas and first 5 (five) years for the rest of the country. The Licensees shall share with the Commission 0.5% of its gross revenue earning on yearly basis after this “Revenue sharing holidays”.
