Step by step process
Step 1 Application Form Collection & Submission: Collect the prescribed Application Form from the Fish Inspection and Quality Control Services (FIQC), Department of Fisheries. Gather all required documents and attach them to the filled-in Application Form. Submit the completed Application Form along with the attached documents to the Fish Inspection and Quality Control Office, Department of Fisheries.
Step 2 Application Review & Verification: The Deputy Director (D.D) receives the Application and goes through the submitted papers. Simultaneously, an Inspector verifies the Application Form and accompanying documents for accuracy and completeness.
Step 3 Inspection Team Conducts Inspection: An inspection team is deployed to conduct an inspection as per the nature of the license being applied for. They subsequently submit a comprehensive report to the Quality Control Officer.
Step 4 Review and Routing by Quality Control Officer: The Quality Control Officer reviews the inspection report and forwards it to the Deputy Director. The report is then routed to the relevant section within the department in a descending manner.
Step 5 Certificate Preparation & Issuance: The designated section prepares a Certificate of License based on the inspection report and forwards it to the Deputy Director in an ascending manner. Upon approval by the Deputy Director, the License is signed and finalized. The Applicant can then collect the approved and signed License directly from the designated Section within the Fish Inspection and Quality Control Services, Department of Fisheries.

Step by step process
Step 1: Application form collection & Submission: Applicants obtain the prescribed application form free of cost from the Fish Inspection and Quality Control Services (FIQC) office at the Department of Fisheries. Step 2: Initial Review and Inspection: Upon receiving the application, the Deputy Director conducts an initial review to ensure completeness.** After review the Deputy Director** assigns an inspector to verify the application and accompanying documents.** The assigned inspector thoroughly verifies the submitted application and an inspection team conducts inspection and submits a report to the quality control manager.
Step 7: Quality Control Officer Review and Forwarding: The Quality Control Officer reviews the inspection report and forwards it to the Deputy Director. The report is then sent to the relevant section in a descending manner.
Step 8 Approval and Collection of License: The relevant section prepares the Certificate of License based on the inspection report and forwards it to the Deputy Director. Upon approval and signing by the Deputy Director, the applicant collects the renewed license from the relevant section.
