Step by step process
Step 1 Write and Initial Application: Write an application on the company’s letterhead addressing the Director General (DG) of the Department of Fisheries (DOF) for the Head Office or the District Fisheries Officer (DFO) for the District Fisheries Office. The DG/DFO initials the application, and the section dockets the application.
Step 2 Form Collection & Submission: Applicant then Apply in the Prescribed Form- under the following category
- Category (1): Production, Processing, Storage
- Category (2): Fish Feed Import/Export and Storage
- Category (3): (Ka) Fish feed sales (Wholesale) Category
- Category (4): (Kha) Fish feed sales (Retail)
Then gather the required documents and attach them to the application, then submit the application to the Aquaculture Department or the District Fisheries Office, Department of Fisheries.
Step 3 Application Review and Inspection Process: The DFO receives and reviews the Application before forwarding it to the Concerned Fisheries Officer. The Concerned Fisheries Officer then verifies the Application and accompanying documents, conducts the necessary inspection, and seals samples for further processing. Concerned Fisheries Officer submits reports to DFO after inspection; if ok, Relevant officer conducts necessary formalities and informs applicant to submit Samples.
Step 4 Fee payment & Document submission: Applicant deposits License fees and Testing fees, and submits a copy of the Treasury Challan along with the sealed sample.
Step 5 Testing and Certification: The Lab, DOF/BCSIR conducts required tests on the submitted samples. Upon satisfactory results, the Concerned Section proceeds to prepare the Certificate. Subsequently, the District Fisheries Officer issues the License based on the approved certification.

Step by step process
step 1: Application Submission and Fee Payment: Applicants submit the prescribed form under one of the specified categories-
- Category (1): Production, Processing, Storage
- Category (2): Fish Feed Import/Export and Storage
- Category (3): (Ka) Fish feed sales (Wholesale) Category
- Category (4): (Kha) Fish feed sales (Retail)
Then deposit the renewal fees, gather all required documents, and submit the completed application to the Aquaculture Office within the Department of Fisheries.
Step 2: Verification and Inspection: After submit the application the Deputy Director (D.D) reviews the application and forwards the application to the designated Inspector for further processing. The Inspector verifies the application, conducts an inspection of the premises, and submits a detailed report to the Deputy Director (D.D).
Step 3: Certification Approval & Issuance: Upon receipt of the inspection report, the Deputy Director (D.D) approves the certification if all requirements are met. Then the concerned section prepares the renewal certificate, and the Deputy Director (D.D) issues it to the applicant. The applicant then collects the renewal certificate upon issuance.
