Step by step process
Step 1 Collect and Submit Application Form: Applicant collects the Application Form from the Plant Protection Wing, DAE, or downloads it from the website (Form-1). They then prepare all the required documents properly, deposit the fees, collect the copy of the Treasury Challan, fill in the Application Form, and submit it along with all documents and sample to the Plant Protection Wing of the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE).
Step 2 Sending Sample for Testing: Plant Protection Wing, DAE sends the Application together with the sample of pesticide to the laboratory for test or analysis and to ascertain whether the sample is in accordance with the information provided along with the Application.
Step 3 Forwarding Testing Report for Test and Field Trial: Plant Protection Wing, DAE forwards the testing report [test or analysis under sub-rule (1)] to the Advisory Committee. Additionally, an official of the Plant Protection Wing, DAE conducts a biological test and field trial in direct association with the applicant for the registration of the pesticide.
Step 4 Receiving Opinion from the Registration Authority
On receipt of a report from the Advisory Committee under sub-rule (2), the Registration Authority, if it gives an opinion that the brand of pesticide conforms to the requirements of the Ordinance and these rules, gives registration to the brand of pesticide in Form 2 on such conditions as may be specified in the certificate and assigns to the certificate a registration number.
Step 5 Application of Registration Certificate & Publication: A certificate of registration granted under sub-rule (3) shall apply only to the pesticide described in the application to which the certificate relates. Pesticides registered, as aforesaid, shall be published by the Registration Authority in the official Gazette within thirty days from the date of granting the Registration Certificate.
Step 6 Receiving the Registration Certificate: Finaly the applicant receives the Registration Certificate in Form-2.

Step by step process
Step 1 Collect and Submit Application Form: Applicants begin the registration process by obtaining the Application Form either directly from the Plant Protection Wing of the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) or by downloading it from the official website. They then meticulously gather and organize all the necessary documents as per the guidelines provided, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Following this, applicants submit the required fees and receive a copy of the Treasury Challan as proof of payment. Finally, they fill out the Application Form and submit it along with all the accompanying documents and the sample (if required) to the Plant Protection Wing for further processing.
Step 2 Laboratory Testing: Plant Protection Wing, DAE sends the Application together with the sample of pesticides to the laboratory for test or analysis and to as certain whether the sample is in accordance with the information provided along with the Application
Step 3 Report Forwarding: Plant Protection Wing, DAE forwards the testing report [test or analysis under sub-rule (1)], to the Advisory Committee
Step 4 Biological Testing: Official of Plant Protection Wing, DAE conducts, biological test in direct association with the applicant for the registration of pesticide
Step 5 Registration Approval & Issuance: On receipt of a report from the Advisory Committee under sub-rule (2), the Registration Authority (Director, Plant Protection Authority, DAE) if satisfied, approves the renewal of the Registration. After approval, a certificate of renewal of Registration is issued to the applicant in Form 4, officially confirming the renewal status of the pesticide registration.
