Step by step process
Step 1: Collect & Submit application form: The applicant starts by visiting the Ministry of Agriculture’s website to collect the application form required for obtaining a fertilizer dealership. The applicant then deposits the registration fee and earnest money through a Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Postal Order. The completed application form, along with all necessary documents and proof of payments, is submitted to the president of the Upazila Fertilizer and Seed Monitoring Committee.
Step 2 Evaluate & Select the Application: Upazila Fertilizer and Seed Monitoring Committee evaluate the Application and send the selected Application to Divisional Fertilizer and Seed Monitoring Committee. After that divisional Fertilizer and Seed Monitoring Committee also evaluate the Application and finally selected Application is sent to the BCIC office. Finally, the BCIC office takes the necessary steps to recruit the selected applicants as fertilizer dealers.
Step 3 Deposit of Security Amount: The selected applicant deposits BDT 200,000 on behalf of the BCIC through a Pay Order or Demand Draft.
Step 4 Issuance of Dealership Certificate: Upon completing all the required steps, the applicant receives the Dealership Certificate, officially authorizing them to operate as a fertilizer dealer.
