Step by step process
Step 1 Submission of Application: The process begins with the applicant submitting their application and all required documents to the Ministry of Information.
Step 2 Committee Evaluation and Selection: After evaluating the application, the Ministry of Information establishes a regulatory committee and a technical sub-committee for selection. After selection by the technical sub-committee and regulatory committee, comments are taken from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Step 3 Frequency Requirement and Permission: Before giving permission, the Ministry of Information collects a report from BTRC on “Frequency requirement.” Applicant gets frequency permission from BTRC for transmission.
Step 4 Licensing and Final Permission: Before test transmission, the applicant gets the License for establishing a single Community Radio Station. Applicant receives the final permission/License.

BDT 20,000 (twenty thousand) paid to scheduled bank for each station
BDT 1,00,000 (one lac) Non-refundable deposit
BTRC will fix the frequency fee based on frequency report
