Approval for water connection is the official permission granted by Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) for establishing a water supply to a property. This process involves assessing infrastructure feasibility, ensuring water quality compliance, and following regulatory guidelines to support residential, commercial, or industrial water needs.
The approval is governed by key legal frameworks, including the Dhaka WASA Act, 1996, the Water Rules, 2016, and Regulation 4 of the Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage (Water and Sewer Connection) Regulations 2011.
