PEST CONTROL LICENSE

A Pest Control License is a legal permit granting individuals or companies the authority to provide professional pest management services. It ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements outlined in the Pesticide Ordinance 2018, Pesticide Rules 1985, and Bangladesh Gazette, Extra, dated August 3, 2010.

Step by step process

Step 1 Acquiring & submitting form: Applicants initiate the licensing process by acquiring the application form from the Plant Protection Wing, DAE. They subsequently submit the completed application form (Form no-10) along with all necessary documents and deposit the requisite fee, obtaining a Treasury Challan for processing their application.

Step 2 Verification by PRO: The Office Assistant (Pesticide Administration) forwards the application to the Pesticide Regulation Officer (PRO) for scrutiny. Upon verification, the PRO sends it to higher authorities: Assistant Deputy Director (ADD), Deputy Director (DD), and Director. If all documents meet the criteria, the Director approves the application and returns it to the PRO via DD & ADD for further processing.

Step 3 Premises Inspection & Report Submission: A Pesticide Inspector conducts a thorough inspection of the factory premises to verify compliance with regulations. Subsequently, the Inspector submits the inspection report to the Director via DD, ADD, and PRO for review.

Step 4 Certificate Preparation: Upon satisfactory inspection, the Director grants approval, returning the application to the PRO via DD & ADD. Subsequently, the Office Assistant prepares the Certificate, bearing the Director’s signature, enabling the issuance of the Pest Control License.

Step 5 License Issuance: The applicant receives the Pest Control License upon completion of the process.
