UTILIZATION PERMIT (UP)

A utilization permit (UP) typically refers to a document issued by a governing authority that grants permission to an individual or entity to use a particular piece of land, property, or resource for a specific purpose. It signifies that the applicant has fulfilled all necessary requirements and regulations, ensuring compliance with zoning laws, building codes, environmental standards, or any other relevant regulations.

Process Steps

Step 1: Submission and File Creation

Bonder comes with required documents and duly filled up Application Form, submits the papers to the concern desk, and a physical file is created consisting of the required documents and UP application Form.

Step 2: Processing by Assistant Revenue Officer (ARO)

The concern desk sends the Application to Assistant Revenue Officer (ARO) for processing. ARO checks the application with relevant documents, verifies the physical documents, and forwards the application to the Revenue Officer (RO).

Step 3: Review by Revenue Officer (RO)

The Revenue Officer (RO) checks and verifies the file, including comments/proposals from the Assistant Revenue Officer (ARO). Upon verification, the RO sends the application to the Assistant Commissioner (AC) or Deputy Commissioner of CBC office for approval.

Step 4: Approval by Assistant Commissioner (AC)

The Assistant Commissioner reviews the documents and information. If satisfied, approves the application and sends it to the dispatch section.

Step 5: Dispatch of Approved UP

After obtaining all required signatures, the UP is ready to dispatch to the respective bonder.**
