PROJECT CLEARANCE (BEZA)

Project clearance by the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) is a critical process for establishing and operating projects within designated economic zones. This clearance ensures compliance with relevant regulations, promotes infrastructure development, and facilitates investments aimed at sustainable economic growth. The legal foundation for this process is outlined in the Bangladesh Economic Zones Act, 2010, which provides the framework for managing economic zones. Additionally, the Local Government (Municipality, City Corporation, Union Parishad) Act, 2009, further supports the implementation of local governance and regulatory measures that contribute to the effective operation of these projects.
