ISBN REGISTRATION

ISBN (International Standard Book Number) registration is a system used globally to uniquely identify books. Each ISBN is assigned to a specific edition of a book, aiding in cataloging, distribution tracking, and sales management. The legal guidelines for ISBN registration, including eligibility, application procedures, and responsibilities, are outlined in the “International ISBN Agency-User’s Manual.” This manual ensures consistency and integrity in the ISBN system, facilitating efficient communication and commerce within the publishing industry worldwide.
