Step by step process
Step 1 Application & Documents Submission: The applicant initiates the process by submitting an application on the company’s official letterhead addressed to the Director General (DG) of the Department of Fisheries (DoF). Along with the application, all necessary documents are also submitted to the DoF.
Step 2 Document Verification & Inspection: The Department of Fisheries (DoF) conducts a comprehensive review of all submitted documents alongside the application form. This review ensures both completeness and compliance with the required regulations and standards. Simultaneously, the DoF initiates a verification and inspection process regarding any previous No Objection Certificates (NOCs) issued for similar imports. This combined step aims to verify the authenticity of documents and assess the compliance history of the applicant in one cohesive process.
Step 3 NOC Issuance: If all documents and previous NOCs are in order and meet the necessary criteria, the Department of Fisheries (DoF) issues the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for importing fish feed/ingredients/aquamarine. This certificate serves as a legal authorization for the importation process and must be acquired before importing the specified goods.
