Extending work permits for expatriates in industrial sectors through BIDA is pivotal. This process ensures continued foreign expertise contribution, aligning with Bangladesh’s growth. BIDA’s role in approving or extending permits underscores its commitment to fostering industrial development and global collaboration. The legal basis for these permits is established by the BIDA Act 2016 and the BIDA Guideline 2023, which provide the regulatory framework and guidelines for the approval and extension of work permits for expatriates.
