TEA TRADING (AS A BLENDER, BIDDER, BIDDER, RETAIL-WHOLESALE) LICENSE

1. The following documents must be attached to the application bidder

(A) BDT 550 / - (five hundred and fifty) Bank Draft / Pay order in favor of Bangladesh Tea Board from any government approved bank [Bank draft/Pay Order]

(B) Update Trade License issued/ renewed by the local city/ municipality/ the Council in favor of the applicant (person/organization) [Attested Copies]

2. The following documents must be attached to the application Bidder

(A) BDT 2050 /- (two thousand and fifty) Bank Draft / Pay order in favor of Bangladesh Tea Board from any government approved bank. [Bank draft/Pay Order]

B) The retail-wholesale License issued by the Bangladesh Tea Board in favor of the applicant person /organization [Photocopy]

(C) Updated issued/renewed License of the retail-wholesale by the Bangladesh Tea Board bidder in favor of the applicant (person / organization) [Attested Copies]

(D) Bank solvency certificates by any government approved Bank in favor of the applicant’s [Original]

(E) The applicant’s (1) Income Tax Certificate (ii) VAT registration certificate. [Photocopy]

3. The following documents must be attached to the application Blender

(A) BDT 5,050 /- (five thousand and fifty) Bank Draft / Pay order in favor of Bangladesh Tea Board from any government approved bank [Bank draft/Pay order]

(B) Update Trade License issued/ renewed by the local city / municipality / the Union in favor of the applicant (person / organization) [Attested photocopy copies]

(C) Updated issued/ renewed License of the retail-wholesale and bidder by the Bangladesh Tea Board in favor of the applicant (person/organization) [Photocopy of the license]

(D) The applicant’s (1) Income Tax Certificate (ii) VAT registration certificate. [Certified copy]

(E) Bank solvency certificates by any government approved Bank in favor of the applicant’s [Original]

(F) Bio-data of a tea tester of the applicant company,

Step by step all process

Step 1 Fill in Application after collection: Collect the application form from the official website of the Bangladesh Tea Board. Customize it as required for Retail-Wholesale, Blender, or Bidder, and fill in the form. Attach all necessary documents specific to the chosen category.

Step 2 Deposit Application Fees: Deposit the application fees via bank draft or pay order from any government bank in favor of the Bangladesh Tea Board, according to the category (Retail-Wholesale, Bidder, or Blender).

Step 3 Submit the Application: Submit the completed application form along with all required documents and fees to the following address: The Deputy Director (Trade), Bangladesh Tea Board, 171172 Bayezid Bostami Road, Nasirabad, Chittagong.

Step 4 Issuance or Renewal of License: The dispatch section receives the documents and forwards them to the trade department. If the application is complete and free of errors, the trade department issues or renews the license and sends it to the applicant via registered post to the provided mailing address.

Step by step all process

Step 1 Submit the License Book and Pay Order: The license holder submits their current license book and a copy of the pay order for the renewal fee to the Bangladesh Tea Board (BTB).

Step 2 Verification by BTB: The BTB verifies the submitted license book and pay order copy.

Step 3 Issuance of License Renewal: After verification, the BTB issues the renewal of the license.
