MANUFACTURE OR FORMULATION OF PESTICIDE LICENSE

A Manufacture or Formulation of Pesticide License authorizes the legal production of pesticides, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Governed by the Pesticide Rules, 1985, as published in the Bangladesh Gazette, Extra, on November 16, 1985, this license enforces standards for safe manufacturing.   3. A letter from the manufacturing concern whose manufacturing capacity is intended to be utilized (A certified true copy)
  4. A letter from the manufacturing concern that they agree to lend the services of their expert staff, equipment and premises for the manufacture/ formulation of each pesticide required by me/us and that they will analyze every batch of finished product and maintain the registers of the materials, finished products and reports of the analysis separately in this behalf or inspection by the authorized agency (A certified copy)
  5. Specimens of labels, cartons of the products proposed to be manufactured/ formulated.
  6. Treasury Chalan (Original)

Step by step process

Step 1 Application form collection & submission: Applicants collect the Application Form from the Plant Protection Wing, DAE, or download it from the website. They then complete the form, deposit fees through Treasury Challan, and collect the money receipt. Finally, they submit the Application Form (Form no-6) along with all required documents to the Plant Protection Wing, DAE.

Step 2 Infrastructure and Material Verification: After receiving Application, the authority checks that the applicant (manufacturer or formulator) has the proper infrastructure, proper environment. The raw materials are of proper quality and well maintained

Step 3 Premises Assessment: If the licensing authority is satisfied that the premises in respect of which the license is to be granted are adequate and equipped with avoiding any hazard and for preserving the property pesticides, authority approves for the license.

Step 4 License Issuance: Upon approval, the applicant receives the Manufacture or Formulation of Pesticide License.

Step by step process

Step 1 Application form collection & Submission: Applicants obtain the Application Form from the Plant Protection Wing, DAE, or download it from the official website. After filling it accurately, they deposit fees through Treasury Challan, receiving a money receipt. Subsequently, applicants submit the completed Application Form (Form no-6), along with all required documents and the previous License (Original), to the Plant Protection Wing, DAE.

Step 2: Document Verification: Officials at the Plant Protection Wing, DAE, meticulously review all submitted documents to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and completeness of the application.

Step 3: License Renewal Approval: Upon verification and fulfillment of requirements, the renewal of the License is approved.

Step 4: Certificate Issuance: Following thorough document verification and confirmation of compliance, the renewal of the License is officially approved by the Plant Protection Wing, DAE, signifying authorization for continued pesticide manufacture or formulation activities.
