TRADA LICENSE (MANUFACTURING FIRM)

A trade license for manufacturing firms is a legal requirement governed by the Local Government (City Corporation) Act, 2009, and the Municipal Taxation Rules, 1986 in many regions. It serves as official permission granted by local authorities, typically city corporations or municipalities, allowing businesses to operate within their jurisdiction. This license ensures compliance with local regulations concerning public health, safety standards, and municipal taxation. For manufacturing firms specifically, it regulates activities related to production, storage, and distribution of goods, aiming to maintain civic order and economic balance within the community.
